–feels like standing next to the grill while he tells you to back up when the smoke comes up from the grill

HOUSE PARTY RADIO?

–other names: BBQ RADIO / BACKYARD RADIO

–might split these up

–still not sure about the name

–should feel like the party moved from the living room to the backyard

POOLSIDE FM

–early 2000s cookout music

–honestly one of the most underrated eras

–oversized tees, colorful sunglasses, somebody recording on a camcorder

–needs to feel like summer vacation in high school

THE KICKBACK FM

–built around that signature Neptunes sound

–“kickback vibes”

–impossible to be in a bad mood when the first five seconds of the song comes on

–relaxed, but somebody is definitely about to start dancing

RICH AUNTIE RADIO

–everybody has a bougie auntie...

–she arrived late, brought one expensive bottle, and looks better than everybody

–smooth, polished, grown

–she might leave early. she has somewhere else to be.

GLIZZY FM

–inspired by DJ Mustard

–Mustard on the beat...

–mustard... hot dogs... cookout...

–get it?

–the pop station

–“potato salad” felt right for reasons I probably don’t need to explain

–a little unexpected, but it still belongs at the cookout
